Answers to the things that actually stop a scan. If yours is not here, write to support@webdiagnosis.net.

Uploading a list

My file was rejected

Save it as CSV or XLSX with one URL per row, then upload again. Rows that are not absolute URLs are flagged rather than dropped, so check the flagged count against your row count before scanning.

You should see the accepted URL count, and separately the duplicates removed.

Can I paste URLs instead of uploading a file?

Yes. Paste them one per line into the same box. The same validation runs.

The count updates as you paste.

Should I upload domains or exact pages?

Exact pages. A homepage tells you almost nothing about whether a post accepts comments, and a domain row cannot be answered by a page-level check.

Rows that look like bare domains still scan, but Comment Opportunity will usually come back None.

Checks and credits

Why did my cost per URL go up when I ticked one box?

The band follows the total number of checks, and the five core checks are always included. Ticking a two-check extra takes you from five checks to seven, which crosses from the 1-credit band into the 2-credit band.

The full arithmetic is shown before the scan starts, including your balance afterwards.

My scan was refused before it started

Either the selection exceeds twelve total checks, or the balance does not cover the scan. Untick an extra, or reduce the number of URLs.

Above twelve checks the scan is refused outright rather than run with checks dropped quietly.

I cancelled a scan. Do I get the credits back?

Yes. Credits are reserved when a scan starts and anything not scanned is refunded, including after a failure or an interrupted job.

Only unprocessed URLs are refunded. Attempted pages may consume credits even if they return an error.

How does the daily credit top-up work?

If your balance is below 100 at the next daily top-up, it is brought back to 100. A higher balance stays unchanged and unused credits do not expire.

Your current balance is shown in Usage & Credits.

Reading the report

Why does Link Type say Unknown?

Because that page had no existing comment links to read. Link Type is measured from links already sitting in the comments; with none present there is no evidence either way, and a platform default would be an assumption dressed up as an observation.

The confidence column says how many links a reading was taken from.

A page I know is live came back as not loaded

Some sites block automated requests, and some responded slowly on the day of the scan. Network errors and 429/5xx responses are retried; a 403 or 404 is treated as an answer and is not.

The detailed export carries the raw error for that row.

Comment Spam Risk says High on a site I trust

The field describes the comments already on that specific page, not the site’s reputation. A good site with one heavily spammed post will read High on that post.

It is not a domain reputation score and should not be read as one.

How do I get just the rows worth working?

Press a summary card to filter to the rows behind its number, or sort by Verdict. Copy or export the complete report, then apply your shortlist filter in your spreadsheet.

Copy and standard exports follow the active filters and use the fields selected for the scan. Clear filters to include the complete list.

Your data

How long are my results kept?

Your latest report stays until a new scan replaces it, you delete it, or you sign out.

Free accounts have no report history, by design.

Can I delete a report now?

Yes, from the report screen. Signing out also clears it.

Rejected and junk URLs are never retained at all.
