Most blog commenting sites lists give you a domain and leave the real work for later. You still have to find a current article, check whether its form is open, confirm that it accepts a website URL and work out what kind of link a published comment would receive.
We started with domains on a current ranking list, found recent posts through public feeds or WordPress endpoints, and checked two exact pages per domain on October 4, 2026. Of 52 pages across 26 domains, 28 had a placeable comment form. Only 20 of those pages, across 10 domains, included a dedicated website field. Those are the sites kept below.
This is a dated working list, not a promise of approval or ranking value. We did not submit comments. Forms can close, editors can reject a comment, and link attributes can change.
10 blog commenting sites with an open website field
Every row below was live, had a real comment form and exposed a separate website field when checked. The link evidence column distinguishes an attribute measured from a published comment link from a platform default that could be changed by the site owner.
| Exact page checked | Topic | Link evidence | Visible comments | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Costco warehouse prices vs delivery services | Personal finance and shopping | Nofollow expected from WordPress default; not proven on-page | 1 | Oct 4, 2026 |
| DIY chinoiserie balls | Home decor and crafts | Nofollow measured from an existing comment link | 0 | Oct 4, 2026 |
| How to get backlinks: follow your passion | Blogging and SEO | Nofollow measured from existing comment links | 2 | Oct 4, 2026 |
| This Week in M&A, issue 256 | Online business and acquisitions | Nofollow expected from WordPress default; not proven on-page | 0 | Oct 4, 2026 |
| Compression socks for pregnancy | Parenting and pregnancy | Nofollow measured from an existing comment link | 0 | Oct 4, 2026 |
| Cardboard box crafts for kids | Family activities and crafts | Nofollow measured from an existing comment link | 4 | Oct 4, 2026 |
| WordPress hosting comparison | WordPress and hosting | Nofollow expected from WordPress default; not proven on-page | 1 | Oct 4, 2026 |
| MBOX to PST converter review | Software and technology | Nofollow expected from WordPress default; not proven on-page | 3 | Oct 4, 2026 |
| Southeast Asia border crossings | Travel | Nofollow expected from WordPress default; not proven on-page | 1 | Oct 4, 2026 |
| Build a WordPress header and footer with AI | WordPress and web design | Nofollow expected from WordPress default; not proven on-page | 1 | Oct 4, 2026 |
An open field does not make every page suitable for your campaign. Start with topic fit. A finance site is not a useful place to promote an unrelated design service simply because its form accepts a URL.
What the check found beyond the ten usable domains
The seed page called its collection a list of instant-approval sites. Our check found a narrower result:
- 26 domains produced current pages we could test. We checked two pages per domain, for 52 exact-page checks.
- 14 domains had open forms. Four of those exposed no dedicated website field, so they were excluded from the backlink table.
- 12 domains had no open form on either recent page. Some still displayed older comments, which is not the same as accepting new ones.
- No checked page produced measured follow evidence. Six of the 20 open pages with website fields had enough published-link evidence to measure, and those links were nofollow. The remaining 14 were marked unconfirmed rather than being advertised as dofollow.
This is why a homepage-level list ages badly. A site may retain old comments while closing the form on new posts. Another may accept comments but remove the website field. Even two pages on the same domain can expose different evidence.
Our broader study of 1,001 purchased backlink prospects found the same basic problem at a larger scale: a promising domain name or authority score does not tell you whether the exact page offers a usable placement.
What “measured” and “expected” mean here
Measured nofollow means the checked page contained a published comment-author link carrying a nofollow value. It is direct page evidence, although the site can change its setup later.
Expected from WordPress default means the form was open but the page did not provide enough published-link evidence to prove the future attribute. WordPress normally qualifies comment links, but a site owner can alter that behavior. We keep the answer uncertain instead of turning a platform assumption into a fact.
Google recommends ugc for links in comments and forum posts, while nofollow is still acceptable when other values do not fit. These attributes are hints about how search systems should treat the link. They do not guarantee traffic, approval or a ranking change. Our guide to nofollow, UGC and sponsored attributes explains the difference without treating one attribute as a quality score.
How to use this list without wasting the opportunity
Choose the page because you can add something useful to its discussion. The website field is a place for your homepage or a genuinely relevant resource, not permission to force a promotional link into the comment body.
Before writing:
- Read the whole article and the latest comments.
- Check that your site and the page serve overlapping readers.
- Use your real name rather than a keyword as the commenter name.
- Add a detail, correction, example or question that moves the discussion forward.
- Leave the link out when it is not useful to the reader.
Google's spam policies identify automated link creation and optimized links in comments as link-spam patterns. A copied compliment followed by a commercial anchor is not improved by appearing on a high-authority domain.

Recheck the exact page before you comment
Treat October 4, 2026 as an observation date, not a guarantee. Open the linked page and confirm that the form and website field still exist. Then inspect any published author links rather than accepting a list's dofollow label.
For a larger list, WebDiagnosis checks the exact prospect pages and keeps open, closed, measured and unknown states separate. That saves the manual opening stage, but the final decision still belongs to a person who understands the page and the audience.
If a row has changed, skip it. A short verified shortlist is more useful than a long spreadsheet kept alive by an old year in its title.
